Bush's "Compassionate Conservative" Budget ?
The NY Times points out the sham of a budget that Bush has the gall to present to the Congress. They point out that he "assumes" nothing will be spent in Iraq or Afghanistan after 2009? Hmmmm... Also, he "assumes" there will be no costs involved when the Congress fixes the AMT (alternative minimum tax).

Mr Bush proposes cutting Medicare by $66 billion over 5 years and Medicaid by $11 billion. He would also propose cutting the program that brings groceries to about 440,000 elderly folks and would cut the $99 million block grant to states for preventative health.

Also, starting in 2008, of course, over a five-year period, he would propose cuts of $114 billion dollars in programs such as Head Start, veterans' health care, low-income housing assistance, environmental protection, and scientific research, to name a few.

At the same time, "In 2012 alone, the president’s new budget would cut domestic discretionary spending by $34 billion, while tax cuts for households with incomes above $1 million would total $73 billion."
So this is "compassionate conservatism"?

2. Seriously...
...who the FUCK does that man serve? Because it's not we the people. Someone should roll his sham of a budget up into a tube and cram it up his ass. He obviously needs his pipes cleaned because all his shit is coming out the wrong end. I friggin HATE that man. In addition, doesn't mention in the OP, but his budget proposes annual increases to the military budget and assumes the "rightness" of his wrongheaded trickle-down economic policies.

3. *who does he serve?*
Je$u$ Chri$t, of course. Everybody knows Je$u$ loves you more if you are filthy stinking rich. Poor people and people with poor health (perhaps caused by WAR) and kids in inner city schools, and on and on can go straight to hell. Je$u$ doesn't love those people. Those people don't serve Je$u$ because they cost money, they don't make money.

4. CUT! And to hell with the citizens, including your born agains.
: Medicare by $66 billion affects Elderly, all children of the elderly, future elderly
: Medicaid by $11 billion affects Elderly, all children of the elderly, future elderly

: Groceries by $440,000 affects elderly, children of elderly, future elderly
: Preventive health grant by $99 million

: Head Start by part of \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
: Veteran's Health Care by part of \\\\\\\\\\\\\\
: Low-income Housing Assistance by part of >>>>>>> $114 BILLION B I L L I O N
: Environmental Protection by part of ///////////
: Scientific Research by part of ///////////////

I imagine that wealthy born agains advised him that it's not necessary to spend money on the people affected above - they ought to just pull themselves up by the bootstraps or let their local churches and states take care of it.

It's obvious that the Halliburtons, KBRs, Blackwaters and baron sponsors haven't earned enough or that their earnings are in jeopardy.

Could it be that the money above will go to the Halliburtons and barons to compensate for not receiving what was promised?

How dare the Republicans submit a proposal like this.

How dare they?
