My local news just used the term "Democrat Party".....
When talking about the LOGO debate. www.kcra.com. I sent them am email about how it is the Democratic party.

1. well, some of our reps
have earned the dubious distinction of becoming spineless, yellow-bellied, caving, cretins afraid of the president. Democrat Party suits them fine. Until and unless they stand up and act like real democratic party members, let the sobriquet stay.

3. That happened here too
The local weekend lollipop (big head, skinny body) chick used that term as well. She's an idiot, so I considered the source. Plus I notice pro-chimpy/pro-repuke letters to the editor of our local paper every so often from some guy with the same last name as this dingbat, so I figure they're just a great big family of repukes (which scares me to no end). Guess I should have written the station, but she's so dumb, I don't even think she does it on purpose. She probably hears her husband say it, and figures it's correct.
