I can not bear any more of this death.
I`m sitting here in the woods surrounded by nature and calm, but it doesn`t even matter to me today. These deaths in Iraq...one right after the other...are enough to make me crumple in half and bawl.
Dead children. Dead civilians. Dead soldiers, including Sgt. Joshua Frazier, age 24, on his FOURTH tour in Iraq. FOURTH damn tour while Congress takes how many weeks to argue over the word escalation?

This is only February 8th, but we`ve lost at least 30...THIRTY...soldiers this month.

http://icasualties.org/oif/

For what? Bush`s legacy? So nobody calls us cut-and-runners? Because mercenaries need the work? Are we supposed to be proud of this shit? Fly our flags and hum the anthem? Every single member of Congress and every single American citizen who still supports this hideous war should be suiting up after a visit with their nearest recruiter. Every one of them, including the long line of talking head bimbos regurgitating Rove`s "emboldening the enemy" crap in their allotted two-minute segments.
I`ve heard enough from them to last me a lifetime. Tell the hooded guy with electrodes wired to his testicles that you`re "bringing freedom" but don`t waste those words on me. I tuned out a few years ago after the sickening French fry naming contest in Congress and that burned, armless child named Ali found out his family had been killed.

As far as I`m concerned, this is beyond anger at a few chickenhawks or at the putrid diatribe coming from Fox News. It`s criminal to allow this war to continue and unforgivable to make excuses for "leaders" in either party who don`t stand up and say, "NO MORE."

George Bush should not only be stopped, he should be impeached....right along side that poor excuse for a Vice President, the guy who would just as soon out a covert agent so long as it helps save the lies inserted into the State of the Union address. These two men aren`t patriots. They`re dangerous, dangerous criminals. It`s time to forcefully tell them we`ve had enough.

4. I can't believe it
I had been out all day and I came home to see that there is wall to wall coverage of ANS, where they don't have any information at all. This is un-freaking-real. This is america, shiny bright objects.

5. The news broke about an hour ago.
What "shiny object" would be more interesting to you? Nancy Pelosi's airplane story? After all, that is what they had been convering until this happened/

6. It`s almost beyond my comprehension
Report after report about...brace yourself...SNOW in Winter. American Idol. An astronaut in a love triangle. I honestly want to throw up. Do any of them know caskets are coming home on a virtual conveyor belt?

7. I hadn't seen any tv today
I was looking for follow up news on the Kansas City Chemical Plant Explosion, the Libby Trial, the Deaths in Iraq. I have a ton of stories I would like to hear about. MSM is a waste of time.

9. Sickening
I mean they could have given her an hour and returned to their regular schedules but no that would mean more bad news for Bushco. How convenient. Why Anna Why - not on the middle of the Libby trial.

3. I keep trying to tell my sister and BIL that the NeoCons will try to start another war
before they're done and they keep saying, "No, the American people won't allow it." And I keep asking, "How are they going to stop it?" I'm with you 110%.

8. The other day I thought,
how nice it would have been if CNN had spent half as much time explaining & educating the public about habeas corpus & the implications of the military commissions act as they spent on the astronaut story.

10. We've lost eleven soldiers in only the last TWENTY-FOUR HOURS
But one would never know from the corporate slimebag media. I got that statistic from Air America's David Bender off of XM.

11. All the deaths make me feel guilty
And I am not doing well myself in life . I rule out all posts that have media hype and focus on the issues that are most important .

Deaths , whether in these insnae sick wars or by homeless in this country or ignored needless suffering such as in New Orleans or the Miss gulf coast are so upsetting it is difficult to think of anything else .

There are people and not numbers or faces without names . This is so disturbing that I see no future in a bright way at all anylonger .

The death of Anna Nichole is a death but not one more important than any other death that it deserves so much coverage than all these other thousands that die each day without a word .

12. How can I say it? These deaths are ours. I cannot begin to know the depth of grief
the families must feel.

This morning I woke feeling sad because I had dreamed of my mother when she was alive. I felt sad because she had died when I woke up. But it was bearable because she was 94 when she died.

These young deaths are beyond comprehension. They are so unfair. I want to scream to the universe "Unfair! Stop! Don't let this happen!"

I wish I felt better about things. But I don't. I want to work towards progress and hope to do so. It is all we can do, isn't it?
