1. The vultures...oops sorry "helicopters" are circling the corpse, literally.
These news media folks are sick.

4. Who cares? TV "news" is, generally speaking, for morons.
There's more entertainment, titillation, and sensationalism there than actual news, for the most part. The only news I'll watch these days is BBC World News (on local public television and BBC America). Other than that, I get my news by reading. I'd suggest to anyone who's bothered by the shallow, stupid sensationalism of most broadcast news media that they do the same.

10. Yeah, I read the Economist regularly...
along with the Atlantic Monthly, and Harper's, and Vanity Fair (which despite the fluff has had some excellent current-events writing), and a few other magazines...in addition to the newspaper sites I visit daily. Getting your news and information from multiple sources with a variety of viewpoints tends to broaden your perspective, I think (and you'll certainly be better-informed than you would if all you do is watch television).

12. The reason The Economist is so good
It's not a U.S. kind of conservative magazine.

British conservatives are more rational than their American counterparts.

9. I'll wait for the movie version(s).
The numerous "news" reports, magazine articles, TV specials, and inevitable book(s) will flood the markets and sell well to the drooling celebrity groupies.

13. This is exactyly what I was telling my wife
all 3 news networks will give this wall to wall coverage.
I expect Extra, Acess Hollywood type programs to cover this type of stuff NOT the so called "real"
NEWS networks.
