7. Why Clinton?

Nearly everyone knows she's a corporate DLC shill. Failure to act in accordance with Democratic party (hell, more importantly, democratic period!) ideals - at least as generally verbalized on DU - ought to be expected from her. No need for disappointment there, we all know what's coming.

The correct answer is Edwards, who should we be unfortunate enough to elect him, will prove to be every bit as slimily pro-status quo as the more roundly vilified Hillary Clinton. And those who have bought into his snake oil pitch will have the scales removed from their eyes, alas! too late!

9. Pretty Illogical Premise When It Comes Down To It, No?

It's really just a poll asking "who do you like the least" right?

Only reason I say so, is because in order to be disappointed in someone, one must've had higher expectations then what was shown. In a poll such as this, it appears that those voting are thinking about the candidates that are furthest away from supporting their positions, but the truth is those voting already have those expectations and are aware of what they're about, so there really wouldn't be any 'disappointment' when it comes down to it, just disgust (so to speak).

In order to vote accurately in this poll, one would have to have a candidate of which they have certain higher expectations for, but have fear that in the end they wouldn't be what they were cracked up to be and end up disappointing. Under those terms, I'd think Kucinich would lead the pack since I think if he were ever to be elected (which c'mon now, ain't gonna happen) he would end up being a HUGE disappointment to so many who believed in him. But based on the results the poll is actually showing right now, it appears people aren't voting under those types of terms. Instead, it seems to be little more than a poll showing results of the candidates that DU'ers like the least; which has nothing really to do with disappointment.
