....of the phrase "Democratic party".

He said "Don't you mean 'Democrat party'?", without a hint of snarkiness.

I replied, "No, I'm not an idiot."

If he really wanted to debate proper usage, I would have Funk and Wagnalls'ed his ass.

8. They shopped that phrase to irritate. That was their sole purpose in doing it.
It had to do with the commercial years back with the word R A T bolded within the word Democrat.

The appropriate response, if you wanted to be forthright about it, to that "Democrat Party" bullshit is "Why you childish motherfucker. You must be a member of the PUBE-LICK party, is that it???"

3. Arrgghhh, I HATE that, largely because the
repukes started using it deliberately as a put-down. Next time he starts that shit, ask him if he belongs to the "republican't" party, or the "republic" party. Fucking idiots.

6. I will always give Tweety Matthews credit for one thing......
One night that twit Ron Christie used it, and Chris called him on it. You should have seen that cross-eyed geek hem and haw and pretend he had no idea what Matthews was talking about.

They can't seem to do anything correctly..

Kind of sad really... they go to all the trouble of rigging elections, and then they cannot govern :)
