People talk about media multi-tasking .
I do realize that people can multi-task , however if the news continues to be a distraction with all the other issues then the important news never gets out to those who choose possibly to multi-task between Anna Nicholes death and the next cell phone purchase or some other news story .

There are important questions we have no answers to such as what happened to 360 tons of cash , what happened to two cargo planes full of stolen rifles months ago .
why are these things not secured .

What are bush and cheney planning this week as far as Iran .

The house was filled with news about Pelosis jet options home yesterday and days before this .

This all seems like a stall of deliberate intent as the war plans roll on forward to a dangerous end .

1. Agreed that there are distractions
but they are designed for people who want distractions. bush supporters don't want to hear about the truth dribbling out of Senator Levin's committee so they just won't listen. They'll listen to the radio next week and get their easy to repeat talking points on the subject. bush supporters don't multi-task relative to facts and important news. There is a ton of news available to all of us including the important stuff about the war and it is getting through. Hang in there teammate. Absorb as much as you can.

2. It does seem like for the past several years the media have
been capable of adressing one and only one story at any given time. And it usually turns out to be the dumbest/most annoying one possible.
