Psychology of a neocon, these people are like alcoholics, as they mess up their lives there needs to be a program
Republican Rehab is not too far fetched, my husband had to have an eval after 10 years in a Fundamentalist neocon cult and this what they told me, he has:
1. no sense of responsibility
2. no sense of remorse
3. thinks he is cool because he does not fit in society
4. deep rage temper tantrums
5. fascination with guns
6. frustration that he did not have more children, wanting more children at age 46
7. paranoia thinking the government is doing things to him
8. mentality of a child, unable to think or act for himself without another person helping
9. addictive personality disorder
10. avoidance disorder-fails to act, work or do things
11. possible ADD inability to finish college
12. lying, omission of facts, pretending to have other personalities, intentional to decieve
13. no sense of privacy, thinking other peoples affairs and private relationships are his business, thinking that he has to stop people from writing things about the bible that "are not accurate scripture sense," no sense of family privacy, no limits, no boundaies, sending outside people harass his own family members, visiting people who are unmarried and living together to tell them they are in sin, coaxing a woman to go in front of a group to admit she had an abortion
There is no cure for a neocon right now. Psychology people need to set up rehab clinic for neocons. The current method of dealing with neocon family members is to tell relatives to set limits, to fight back, to refuse to talk to any of their loon neocon relatives or friends, to also accept that the person is a neocon loon and will go on like this forever. The neocon actually cycles, actually repeats same things over and over, as part of the addictive personality, so you see them do the same weird shit over and over.
