2. um
she doesn't really care. She has a core set of things she wants to focus on and she isn't going to let some pesky war get in her way.

3. Senator Clinton knows that if she were honest about what she believes
No self-respecting Democrat would vote for her for anything

6. I hope she never makes it past the Primaries
I would need a huge close pin and lots of Dewars to pull the lever for Hillary.

8. Clinton is one of many playing politics with the war.
Senator Gordon Smith changed his mind about the war and came out against it, then voted for troop surge.

10. She is a politician, first and foremost in my opinion, and a lawyer.
Two occupations not noted for their strong stands on anything that does not come down to their own pockets. Now, all accused deserve a fair trial and top notch representation, but Mme. Clinton is a corporate attorney...

To be honest, I do not what she presently stands for or against...unlike so many statespersons who have been open and unwavering in their political philosophies.

I am reminded of her parochial interests in protecting every dime of NY's Ryan White funding last year as people lay dying in SC, and making vague promises of "Medicare for all HIV+ in the future...". I am reminded of her nay vote on the Feinstein-Leahy Amendment on the banning of civilian use of cluster bombs.

She cannot do enough public penance in my opinion to rehab her, save standing on the Capitol steps dressed in a sheet with a sign hung over her neck while standing on a stool and showing true contrition by her votes.
