I'm watching CSPAN and Angela McClown wants to whitewash the sexual and other failures of the REPUBLIKLAN party.

After Pedro Echevarria named the various sex scandals of the Republiklan party McClown says that the Republiklan party appears in good shape. Ha!

After these scandals I doubt that the Republiklan party will get many independent votes as comapred to what they used to.

The independents will not look favorably on a party that has no good economic policies since the 1920's and furthermore their morality play will fall on deaf ears in 2008. People will not forget what has happened in 2007.

So if the GOP continues their race baiting and gun paranoia, they won't attract too many independents and their base just may stay home at a larger rate than usual.

At the start she admitted she's on Murdoch's payroll...that says enough for me. This isn't even politics...this is a "sales job"...like trying to sell ice to eskimoes. She's not there to convince the majority of us who see how shallow and demented she is, but for the dwindling "base" (and I heard them calling)...kind of like a "motivational" speaker for the kool-aid set. This is to try to keep the base from eroding further.

The other night I had an interesting dinner with a "Moderate" Repugnican acquaintence...he claims he's now more an Independent/Libertarian (he loves Guilliani, but hates booosh)...one still in love with the Raygun myth and that Democrats are all bleeding heart chickenshits. I had fun playing hypocritical ping-pong with him...and it showed me how confused he, and I'm certain many other Repugnicans are right now. May I'll do a post about this somewhere...it was a fascinating look at someone who is stuck between what he wants to believe and what he really sees...the divide gets larger every day.
