Medical Examiner: Congressman Gillmor died in a fall down stairs
WP/AP: Medical Examiner Calls Gillmor's Death an Accident
Associated Press
Saturday, September 8, 2007

Rep. Paul E. Gillmor (R-Ohio) died of blunt head and neck trauma consistent with a fall down stairs, and his death was an accident, the Virginia medical examiner's office has concluded.

Gillmor was found dead Wednesday in his Arlington County townhouse after he failed to show up at the Capitol for morning meetings.

Police have assessed the scene and found no evidence of foul play, said Lucy Caldwell, a spokeswoman for the Virginia Department of Health, which includes the state's medical examiner's office. The medical examiner's investigation will be finalized once chemical and ancillary tests are complete, Caldwell added.

Gillmor, 68, spent four decades in politics. He was elected to Congress in 1988 from a solidly conservative district in northwest Ohio....

3. Totally natural causes.
"We have evaluated the cause of Congressman Gillmor's death. I as the medical examiner declare his death to be Accidental, and my office has no idea how a dent on his ass shaped like a Blackwater issue combat boot, a bruise on the scruff of his neck in the shape of a very large man's hand, or eleven Congressman Gillmor-sized dents in the drywall return at the bottom of his townhome's stairwell got there.

4.  He was the 43rd-richest member of Congress,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Gillmor
From 1965 to 1966, Gillmor was on active duty in the U.S. Air Force as a Judge Advocate, attaining the rank of Captain. He then entered the practice of law.

Gillmor's 2006 financial disclosure placed his wealth between $6.2 and $27.8 million. Much of that is from an eight-branch local bank, Old Fort Bank, owned by Gillmor and his relatives.<2> He was the 43rd-richest member of Congress, according to Roll Call.<3>
