U.S. contractor shot by American forces in Iraq...
'BAGHDAD, Iraq U-S forces have shot and killed a civilian contract truck driver in Iraq. A second person in the truck was wounded.

Lieutenant Commander Bill Speaks says it happened on Monday at Camp Anaconda, a huge air base north of Baghdad. Speaks calls it "an escalation of force incident." He says the incident is under investigation by the Army Criminal Investigation Division and the contractor, K-B-R, a subsidiary of Halliburton.'

4. Is there anything more to this story?
I'm just wondering if I'm missing something here. I've read that US Troops have been extremely upset about the Mercs' the Mercenaries who are Hired Assassins by companies like Titan, CACI, Black Water and the like. These Hired Killers make around $500,000 per year, whereas the US troops make pennies.

Just wondering if there is more to this story.

....or if it was just....an accident.....

5. More to the point...
KBG and Halliburton have no business investigating jack. They're over there on our dime. Fact is, as we all have heard through countless movies: "friendly fire happens." So I guess they should just suck it up.

Sorry, but I'm feeling pretty cynical today. :-(
