Hanna Gray: Great fundraiser, no real interest in academic womens issues or problems at all.

The campus joke was- if you ever run into the kind of women who drink tea all day and read french feminism and dress in black and tell you that the world would be a better place if it were run by women- Hanna Gray is your ace in the hole.

6. I only just realized that half the Ivy Leagues
now have female Presidents. Let's hope she makes a difference.

8. I feel like I've learned the hard way
that having a woman in a high position isn't always better. Having a man who is sensitive to womens issues can be just as good or better. But having a critical mass of women in a given profession is what really makes change possible. Thats what we need in the Senate! I honestly thought by now we'd be at 50:50 but we have so far to go.

7. Yes!
My daughter attends there, so I'm glad to hear this!

First a black governor for Mass, now a woman for Harvard!

:woohoo:
