Terrorists will destroy the Bush library and take out most of the Park Cities at the same time. The question isn't if but when, says Sam Boyd, a Park Cities lawyer.

Mr. Boyd isn't alone.

A number of Park Cities residents say they fear that building the presidential library in University Park would be like painting a big, red target on their community.

Security and terrorism experts have mixed sentiments. Although some say presidential libraries are unlikely targets, others say Bush's library may change that because the president is such a polarizing figure worldwide.

"It's just kind of a realization," Mr. Boyd said about the terrorist threat. "I'm not willing it. I don't want it. But if they build the target, somebody's going to shoot at it."

The Bush Presidential Edifice is going to contain four things: an archive of all the Presidential Papers the Boy Blunder hasn't declared Classified For All Time; a hero's gallery of photos of Bush doing Stupendous Things While He Was Preznit; the A-6 he landed on the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln during the filming of "Triumph of the Swill"; and a far-right think tank.

Unfortunately for Bush, that think tank is very high on the list of potential targets--not for terrorists, mind you, but for ordinary Americans whose jobs were sent overseas or whose relatives died in one of the wars Bush started and we lost.

One lawyer claims it will be a target and a bunch of "security experts" say maybe, but not very likely.

In another thread on this the other day I said I suspect it being something planted by someone involved in the fight at SMU over the library and I'm still thinking that.

Anybody bothered to find out who this lawyer has on his client list and why he has this interest in the library being blown up?
