13. actually, sad as it is to say, the Schultz move is what XM heard from the listeners...

a) many people bitched about Schultz being split up on two channels, tape delay
b) people constantly bitched about Al Franken
c) Thom is an 'unknown' to XM and a lot of the country
d) the stupid dickheads that reamed XM out about not INSTANTLY picking up Malloy, left a bad taste in some folks mouth.
e) Schultz *DOES* have a strong following...

There is STILL a chance for the second left channel (Stephanie, Bill Press, Thom, Lionel, et.al.) but it's gonna take a concerted effort to get it to happen..

25. I emailed XM and I also called XM

This was back when Malloy was fired from AAR .

I never got an email back and when I called I was talking to panama city panama .

They had no idea who I was talking about and gave me the rundown of 167 .

A few years ago when I got XM they had a great customer service because I was ready to cancel XM because Molly was not on and they fellow told me just to wait a month or so and Malloy was on . Not because I asked but they knew changes were coming soon .

It sends a strong message about what we're NOT interested in.

But I want MSNBC back, so I can listen to Countdown in the car again.

I always had it tuned to 167 or at times bluesville or 6 or 7 or maybe 8 .

Still trying to talk to these people is almost impossible , a few times I had to get the signal reset and this was bad enough .

According to livingfruitvirus over at XMFan.com's board, he emailed the XM 167 program director, and they said that Mike Malloy is returning to XM 167. I'm assuming they'll air him live, preempting EcoTalk and Jon Elliot.

I emailed the PD of 167 saying Nova M said Mike is coming back, and he confirmed it. I would assume that it's live.

However, the show page has been updated, and Eco Talk is no longer listed.
