My hard-nosed @#!!%++ Libertarian husband . . . !!

Actually barked at me a little while ago for watching that Private Contractors in Iraq video linked on Latest Discussions.

He said, "Do I HAVE to listen to that guy (Bush) prattle on about nothing?"

Pretty unusual for a cynical attorney who's heard quite a bit of prattling in his life.

Weird how they can't get along with each other, huh?

Mine has been against this war for a while now, but I think that is largely because he supports the idea of controlling the oil (he's a corporate attorney) and is mad now about nation building and how badly the whole thing has been managed.

Can't get him to say one nice thing about any Democrats, though he hates Bush, and is attracted to Obama (probably because he thinks he can win and he likes winners).

I'm convinced Libertarians aren't as open/free-minded as they try to seem and I'm an hypocrisy/contradiction hound. I duke it out with him verbally occassionally, so one's enough.
