9. Our military is much stronger, but...

Even with the wars we are waging (and screwing up) in Iraq and Afghanistan, the U.S. military would win against Iran. It'd be no cake-walk like Iraq. It could take months (not weeks) and maybe longer. Casualties would be high. But we would beat their military.

The real challenge (as in Iraq) would be what to do next. Think the insurgency in Iraq is a problem? Trying to pacify and Westernize Iran would bankrupt the U.S. Going in without a plan (as with Iraq) would be a disaster of monumental proportions.

10. Intense bombing by Israel

Is the first course served at all sorts of targets not just Iranian nuke sites. As the World condemns the action we jump in as Iran retaliates against Israel. After that all lunacy breaks out as we can not invade just bomb (nuke?). Oil prices go critical. World War III ---- The End ---- Applause as Bush finally goes down in a big way.
