The hearts will disappear soon enough and we will be back to ripping each other new ones. Let's just embarrass each other as long as we can and raise money so that we can keep DU going without cheesy ads or a reduce of service. I remember how well the system handled election night. Think how crazy we will be when the next war, attack, or impeachment happens. DU's servers need to be bulletproof.

but I agree with Madfloridian it is like a high school popularity contest. I remember in high school I was not one of the so-called "in-crowd", but we had our own crowd of people who were involved in debate and drama and we did ok. The truth is the only people who have no hearts are those who occupy the seat of government in the executive branch today. DUers are full of giving and loving people.
