U.S president re-thinks Iran strategy
http://feeds.bignewsnetwork.com/?sid=286717

The New Yorker magazine has reported the U.S may be assuming a different strategy to target Iran.

It says President George Bush has revised plans for possible air strikes against Iran's Revolutionary Guard instead of the country's nuclear sites.

Washington has accused the Revolutionary Guard of targeting U.S forces in Iraq and has increased its level of attack planning with the CIA expanding a unit focusing on Iran.

Citing unnamed former officials, the paper says the change in focus comes as Mr Bush has begun to describe the war in Iraq as increasingly a strategic battle between the United States and Iran.

During a video conference over the summer, Mr Bush allegedly told Ryan Crocker, the U.S ambassador to Iraq, that he was considering striking Iranian targets across the border and that the U.K was "on board".

Maybe its me but this sounds like all out war with Iran its not about Nuclear sites...

1. It seems that we have purged the diverse opinions in the Pentagon.
Is our military ready to fight another war? Will our nation continue to furnish people and funds to feed the Bush* ego?

3. "U.S. president" and "think" in the same sentence? You can't mean Bush.

6. Does this mean there's something different from the 233 targets they
had already picked out?

The admin is worried that iran will become the M.E. superpower (Saddam's Iraq actually used to stabilize the region) and that if we don't bomb them back into the stone age now, we'll have to have a really dangerous faceoff with them later. They also feel they must strike before *'s term is over cuz they are conceding that the Dems will sweep the 2008 elections (and they think we will hold the power for 8 years!).

There's this whole other thing about wanting to deprive China of oil for a couple of months (another reason to strike Iran) so it's a win/win for the weird WH in their minds.

of murder. The Pentagon released a statement against Hillary Clinton. The CIA got caught with 4 tons of coke on a plane they use to 'rendition' people off to God knows where.

Really are working hard to make a better place for Americans, Bush and his friends in the mass death business. :sarcasm:
