Rep. Kingston Introduces Resolution ‘Commending’ Rush Limbaugh
File this one under.. "You Have Got To Be Fucking Kidding Me"

http://thinkprogress.org/2007/10/01/kingston-limbaugh-reid/

Today, Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) gave a speech on the Senate floor condemning Rush Limbaugh for calling troops who support American withdrawal from Iraq “phony soldiers.” He urged his colleagues — both Democratic and Republican — to sign a letter of disapproval to the CEO of Clear Channel.

Instead, Rep. Jack Kingston (R-GA) — who voted to criticize MoveOn.org — has decided to commend Limbaugh. Today at 3:16 PM, Kingston introduced a resolution “ommending Rush Hudson Limbaugh III for his ongoing public support of American troops serving both here and abroad.”

From a link on the TP page, this soldier, in total contrast to the Chickenhawk shithead who would like to vote on a fucking resolution for poor Rush, hands the junkie fuck his ass.

3. FWIW
This resolution hasn't appeared on the House Clerk's summary of activities for today. At 3:16 they were voting on HR Res 185 and at 3:18, beginning debate on HR 2276. Makes me wonder if Drudge wasn't hoaxed.

6. Yes
But Drudge had it first and since it's unsourced at TP, it's not unlikely they got it from him. It's where near everyone else originally saw it.

I dunno if it's real. It's certainly not beyond the pale for an idiot Republican. We'll know soon enough, I guess.

12. Bills introduced are not floor activity
A bill being introduced would NOT show up as floor activity. It would show up in the Congressional record as being introduced. Looking at the Cogressional Record for Monday, no such bill was introduced. Sounds like someone got fooled by what sounds like an Onion article.

5. Rush Limbaugh is a prize winning Chicken Hawk, Draft Dodger...
...if there were prizes available for such a dubious distinction.
Give him commendation for that, if anything!

10. Yes, but,
why does it appear that Republicans have accomplished more of their goals, with such a minority of them?

This is not meant as anything except a question...why are Dems so effete?

There could be valid reasons behind it, not attributable to the Dems themselves. This is a sad, ugly scenario, and the sooner someone gets to the bottom of this, the better.

11. Technically, you might say repubs don't really have a minority.....

They have the media to amplify their noise while suppressing Dem voices. Couple that with the DLC types who show up constantly on Fox Noise Channel talking about the 'looney left'.

Perfect example is the manner in which they are currently attempting to shape opinions constantly and with bias repeating the low approval of 'congress', rather than contrasting Dem vs Repub ratings.

14. I know of 202 members of the congress who will vote for this POS.
I don't know how the other 233 will vote though. Some will vote for it and most against it. All those 233 better vote against this, better yet, this POS better never see the floor of the United States House Of Represenatives.
