Clarence Thomas loves right-wing blogs.

Last night, the Heritage Foundation hosted a dinner for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and “a small number” of conservative “bloggers and New Media members.” During the dinner, Thomas told the right-wing bloggers “several times” that he was “very impressed with the work” they do:

He told us that he had deliberately wanted to spend the first day of his book launch with New Media journalists, noting specifically that he felt good about avoiding the Supreme Court press on the occasion. Thomas explained that he wished we’d been around in 1991, that we could have made sure that the facts of the case came to light. We could have worked around the mainstream media narrative, he told us, and stated several times that he was very impressed with the work we did.

Dinner with Justice Clarence Thomas
James Joyner | Tuesday, October 2, 2007

Justice Clarence Thomas Grandfather’s SonThe Heritage Foundation held a dinner last night honoring Supreme Court Associate Justice Clarence Thomas on the publication of his memoir, My Grandfather’s Son. The small gathering included Virginia Lamp Thomas, the Justice’s wife, and a group of bloggers and other opinion journalists.

I was honored to be in attendance along with bloggers Ed Morrissey, Paul Mirengoff, LaShawn Barber, Mary Katharine Ham, Erick Erickson, Jack and Charmaine Yoest, Sasha Volokh, Tim Graham, and Richard Miniter and print journalists Bill Kristol, Kate O’Beirne, and James Taranto. Rebecca Hagelin and Robert Bluey were our hosts. (The hyperlinks, which I’ll update as time permits, go to reflections on the evening or the book.)

1. Well, that high-tech doesn't lynch (to paraphrase the possibly most disgusting
allusion I've I've ever heard in my entire life).

This from a man who sends his Heritage Foundation bigwig wife to the coofests to shill his book for him.

4. hahahaha
The smart Republican spouts the party BS because it get's them the power/money they want. The dumb sheep Republican gets caught in his own party's net. You get the feeling Thomas can name every person Bill Clinton murdered and how much energy Al Gores House uses:)
