How do we stop Bush from attacking Iran?
Everyone sees it coming, no one wants it, why can't we stop it?

ridiculous, but we know better don't we? what BS, again the American people mean nothing to these thugs.
Again we have to do something anything to stop this, and that stupid Kyl/Lieberman Amendment they passed last week, is what * will use.

3. First, construct a country that has as its foundation a democratic principle
then have free and fair elections with no influence by non-persons. Then elect the representatives who agree to listen to their constituents. That will work, I promise.

5. Start Impeachement proceedings against him AND Cheney.
I doubt they'd dare start a war with Iran while they are defending themselves against charges for starting war with Iraq. And, remember how Clinton's Impeachmenttied up the entire government in knots? It would have a chilling effect on a lot of things.

6. I was dubious about impeachment, but you may have hit on something.
How about hearings that go on forever?

7. Exactly!
We must push for Impeachment no matter what.

The Dems are not doing other positive things for the country, so there goes that excuse.

15. We, as citizens, can do nothing to stop it. Our representatives,...
,...have been elected to do so on our behalf. That is how our system operates.

Of course, individually, we can all voice our opposition and we can refuse to participate in such activity. We can also go to the polls and elect representatives we believe will prevent another war in the M.E. or anywhere else. But, another war may very well take place before we even reach the polls, huh.

16. I'm afraid it will happen before Christmas.
My dad is afraid it'll happen before the election, then Bush will trump up the following disaster as an excuse to cancel the elctions!

20. President Bush is quietly providing back-channel advice to Hillary Rodham Clinton, urging her to
to modulate her rhetoric rhetoric so she can effectively prosecute the war in Iraq if elected president.

In an interview for the new book “The Evangelical President,” White House Chief of Staff Josh Bolten said Bush has “been urging candidates: ‘Don’t get yourself too locked in where you stand right now. If you end up sitting where I sit, things could change dramatically.’ ”

Bolten said Bush wants enough continuity in his Iraq policy that “even a Democratic president would be in a position to sustain a legitimate presence there.”

“Especially if it’s a Democrat,” the chief of staff told The Examiner in his West Wing office. “He wants to create the conditions where a Democrat not only will have the leeway, but the obligation to see it out.”

21. Realistically, nothing.
I could suggest one, but I think it would be a felony just to do so.

However, Impeachment will not fly in the House, much less the Senate. And the Chimpenfurher-in-cheef makes the call as the where the troops go.

23. First thing, they won't call it an attack,
they will call it defense.

"Today, I ordered the United States Air Force to apply surgical noo-ku-lar strikes against select Iranian Gaurd targets. The action was done to prevent weapons and aid from flowing in to the Iraq border and subverting our mission of a stable democracy. I ask all Americans now to stand with our troops and pass the new legislation drafted to increase surveillance on our enemies, put down rebellions in time of emergency for the public safety, and push through a spending bill to give our troops on the ground what they will need for this new and necessary conflict."

-President George Bush, 2008

26. It's the noo- ku-lar strikes that scare the shit out of me.
There's been a lot of threats, but no one has used nuclear weapons since Nagasaki. It's like a reverse case of crying wolf. So many people hae talked about it so often for 62 years , no one really believes that Bush will do it.
