Poll: 95 % of Americans mistrust Bush about Iraq
Source: Iranian Press TV

A new poll indicates that a vast majority of the Americans are doubtful about the US administration's ability to solve Iraq's crisis.

According to New York Times/CBS News poll, 95 percent of US citizens mistrust the way the Bush administration handles the Iraq war.

Only 5 percent of the respondent said they could still trust Bush's policy on the controversial war in Iraq.

This poll came out on Sept 10th in the NYT
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/09/10/washington/10poll.html?_r=1&oref=slogin

under a headline saying "Americans Feel Military Is Best at Ending the War". Buried in the very long article was the statement that only 5% said they most trusted the Bush administration to resolve the war.

By the time he leaves office I think everyone will have figured that out, not that he cares.

37. Junior doesn't give a diddle-dy-fu*k what 95% of us think: the decider decides all and there is
little that can be done when the spineless supine Congress refuses to do its constitutional duty, the MSM still shill, and millions still rapturously support.

12. Pelosi is in the 21%
Only 5 percent of Americans — a strikingly low number for a sitting president’s handling of such a dominant issue — said they most trusted the Bush administration to resolve the war, the poll found. Asked to choose among the administration, Congress and military commanders, 21 percent said they would most trust Congress and 68 percent expressed most trust in military commanders.

15. "Iranian Press TV" is framing that poll for their own purposes.
The poll question is actually "If had to choose, whom would you say you trust the most with successfully resolving the war in Iraq."
Congress 20%, No One 3%, Military Commanders 68%, The Bush Administration 5%

That doesn't mean that 95% mistrust Bush about Iraq. If they were asked, "Do you trust Bush about Iraq", I doubt it would be nearly that high.

20. You are complaining about their slant?
When each and every headline in the US is deliberately slanted to protect the Cheney/Bush admin?

Their slant just helps to offset the absurd slant we have in the US.

Note that each poll question results in this year's poll is drastically worse than last year's for Cheney/Bush. Does the article even mention that? 'Course not.

41. It is a legitimate news site. A well respected one outside of the US
From their site:

Press TV is the first international Iran-based news network to broadcast in English on a round-the-clock schedule.

Our Tehran-based headquarters is staffed by media professionals from around the world. Press TV has an extensive network of bureaus located in the world’s most strategic places.

Of course it is not owned and operated by the Murdoch's of the world so it doesn't have the usual right wing bias.

Everyone knows Cheney/Bush is directing the attack on Iraq. In this poll 95% of the respondents rejected the current Cheney/Bush leadership and picked someone else to redirect our attack activities. If the headline is biased, it is only slightly stretching the truth.
