Why Obama would get my vote.

I just finished Obama's book "The Audacity of Hope" and it helped me see things differently. For a while now I have felt some what "Un-American" because things have gotten so bad and I wanted to distance my self from what I saw as the rise of American imperialism or at least the policies of imperialism. I saw America as being the word to define the right-wing religious environmental killing secularists.

After seeing what a strong American politician believes America should be and will be, I am truly inspired and somewhat ashamed of my cultural and patriotic wavering. But mostly I am pissed that a group so unapologetically intolerant and evil could high-jack the one word that I should be most proud to describe my self, "American."

Thanks Obama for helping me see my error.
