6. Oh, I'm pissed.
This country does need a Democrat in the Executive. Who am I kidding? We need Democrats in all branches and the Republican Party needs to sink into quicksand. Domineci's not running again is good news. The guy was elected when I was a child living in Albuquerque, and I'm glad he'll be gone. More of that, please. I will call Pelosi's office to implore her to put impeachment on the table. We need to remove Bush and Cheney and send the message that Americans will not stand for this bullshit any longer.

8. He already vetoed it but we need to get 25 rethugs
to join the other 67 (?) who want to override the veto.

Urge Congress to override Bush's veto of health insurance for kids

Please write a letter-to-the-editor, urging Republican Members of Congress

http://ga3.org/campaign/lte_schip/search-zip?rk=&preview=f

to override President Bush's veto and renew health insurance for our children!

We need your help to get those votes.

This morning, President Bush rejected health care for children.

Now it's time for Democrats to reject President Bush.

We've set up a simple tool that will allow you to write a letter and send it to your members of Congress instantly.

Send your Senators and Representative a message telling them to stand up to George Bush:

10. Here's the phony reason Bush says he vetoed the bill:
Bush says he vetoed it because it will lead to "government run health care." Canada has, according to his way of thinking, "goverment run health care." Well, actually George, it's not government run, it's government PAID...which is a big difference. Our doctors and hospitals make all the decisions. The government PAYS THE BILLS! Someone should tell Bush and those who think like him that in the latest poll up here, 93% of our population said they want to keep our system. Isn't that what should tell you what you need to know? If the people are satisfied with it, then it must be the right way to go.
