70% Out Of Iraq. What the ABC/Wapo Poll really said.
The recent ABC Wapo poll is an interesting study in opinion management. A new question was introduced:

"The Bush Administration has requested nearly 190 billion dollars to fund the wars and related U.S. activities in Iraq and Afghanistan over the next year. This is about 40 billion dollars more than first estimated. Do you think Congress should approve all of this funding request, or reduce it?"

Note that the only options are fully fund or reduce funding. No funding is not an option in the question. Nor was it an option given as a response. The question has been framed within the safe parameters of the charade being conducted by The Corporate Kleptocracy and War Party in Washington. The charade of token opposition to continuing the original plan.

The offical responses:
Approve All: 27
Reduce It: 67
Unsure: 3

And the volunteered unofficial response, not in the approved answers:
Shouldn't Approve Any Money: 3

70% of Americans oppose the presidents policies in Iraq. Of those 70% an unknown number want us out now and want congress to stop funding the war. We won't get to learn how many of that 70% want to defund the war (at least 3/70 of them) as that question will not even be honestly asked.
