OhOh Repuke Senators cancelled their press conference

to announce their legislative accomplishments. MSNBC's Mike Vicarus (sp.) said they cancelled it at the last minute because they feared they would be bombarded with questions about their stance (my word) on Larry.

1. WHAT legislative accomplishments?

Even if they're cancelling because Larry Craig's bathroom stall door has inconveniently swung open again, why would they call a press conference in the first place when they have no legislative accomplishments to announce anyhow?

2. They have managed to scuttle all Dem bills. The Dems could never do that!!

3. Look at what they have managed to prevent the more liberal

members of congress from accomplishing--
Keep the troops fighting until they are killed or go off the deep end.
Obstruct every ethics and criminal investigation that has been brought.
On and on, their accomplishments have been mighty, especially since they pull an automatic symbolic filibuster on any legislation they don't like, forcing a sixty vote majority on anything that passes.

I wish it weren't so, but they have actually accomplished more, in their twisted scheme of priorities, than have the dems.

but I guess defending Bush and their corporate donors at the expense of their gullible voters is a major accomplishment.

Fact is, they DID have their press conference, listing ALL their legislative accomplishments for the American people. Each and every one.

But it started and was over so quick, nobody noticed.
