The Corrupt Hide Behind Information Overload ....
I have noticed critical information IS becoming publicly available, though published in just a few venues.

We now are faced with a different problem than the first 6 years of Bush. There is lots of disinformation being made available across the spectrum of the MSM, and the truth is having a hard time being recognized and found by the majority of the people looking for answers.

Over the next 2 years it may be more important for activists to identify and publicize what is important, than the traditional role of exposing critical information for the first time.

A well coordinated campaign by the WH in which sources are anonymous, and the information is not verifiable as being valid, could 'hide' the truth just as well as withholding it.

1. "And while you study that, judiciously, as you will..."
"We'll act again, creating a new reality..."

2. Oh really.
If people knew that tons and tons of actual dollar bills were sent to Iraq and just handed out or disappeared, they would be plenty upset. But they don't know and won't know even though it was in plenty of US papers.

Without an echo chamber, all news is lost. Right Wingers have their echo chamber. The monied on the left don't feel one is important.

3. CNN and MSNBC are used to promote fluff and distortion while the inside pages of
too few newspapers are dropping small bits of useful information to the American people. That way they can 'claim' they covered it but no one was paying attention.

5. I have complained for years that local newspapers fail to report world news....
It would be as easy as picking stories up off the wire to report foreign news stories, but instead we get entertainment/news stories --and an uninformed reading public.

For example, there have been literally hundreds of stories written overseas about the coming US/Israeli attack on Iran. Most of these have been reports of 'official' statements coming directly from government officials, especially Israel. Yet if you watch the MSM in the US you would hardly know the rest of the world even has a concern.

However, Obama announces he is running for the Presidency, and the MSM here runs official criticism of him from Australia the next day. If that is not bad enough, they fail to even report Obama's response for the sake of balance.

It is going to be much harder to hold these people accountable than during Watergate, since the press eventually honed in on Watergate.

4. There have been blockbuster revelations in both the Libby Trial and build up to Iran attack...
.... but most people are completely unaware of them.

I am sure it is obvious to many here, but the great majority of people not actively looking for this information are ignorant of these revelations.

I have to agree that the MSM becomes the sole source of information for most people, and that is the problem

6. Frontline is airing "News Wars" tonight. This will be the first of four
parts. The previews I've seen sound quite intersting. You can also see it online.

7. Further proof the truth is out there, just overwhelmed in the MSM echo chamber....
Makes you wonder how the MSM plans to justify their role in all this. They have to know that the disaster of all disasters is coming.
