Did you know we need only 218 NO votes in the House to kill the (occupation) supplimental?

I don't know if you are aware of this, but it only takes 1/2 + 1 (218) NO votes in the House to kill a supplemental. There is no veto or 2/3 override vote needed. 218 NO votes means the supplemental is dead - there is no recourse. There is money in the pipeline to continue the occupation of Iraq through September 2007, which means we can expect another 270 American soldiers will die from now till the money runs out.

The word on the street says it will pass by 30~70 votes.

Since we control 233 seats in the House, this means 45 to 85 Dems are expected to condone the occupation. I might be worth your time and effort to check in with your congresscritter to find out how he or she will vote.
