My dream of a DREAM TEAM: Gore/Clark 2008 w/Biden Secty of State. I'm way too afraid
that the Clintons have been sucked into the Bush Family Empire -- Bill and Poppy got way too friendly for me and I now believe the Bush Family powers have sent the media to get her elected and if they fail, well, there's always those election machines.

I believe the Republicans have always been slimier than Dems and that there are many DINOs that are Republican plants and that US citizens may well have seen the last of a Democratic Party that represents original Democratic values.

It might just be a really bad night for me personally but I'm truly feeling so hopeless that I can only dream at this point. Hence, this dream team post.

1. the Big Dawg & Poppy were way too cozy for my comfort level, made my skin crawl
and now to learn that Hillarys top advisor is connected to Blackwater (his firm is hired to help them defend themselves this week in congress) - well, I understand that business is business, but to take business helping a private mercenary army connected to bush/cheney is to be too interested in money and too little concerned with what is the right thing to do. It shows a serious lack of concern for the values that true democrats hold dear.

In fact - it seems very much like what a corporate repuke would do. Value dollars above all else.

My dream team is Gore/Clark with Kucinich heading the newly minted Department of Peace!

4. The Kucinich Department of Peace is only one of his ideas that deserves actualization.
And would receive the admiration of the global population.

2. Yeah, I really like Clark, but...
he seems to be really close to the Clintons, so, I'm not sure a ticket like that would ever happen...

3. A typical Rovian tactic if he were afraid of a Dem would be to act as if
they wanted that Dem to run -- as if Bush liked that Dem -- knowing that would drive our mainstream CRAZY.

Seems to be working -- but I don't buy it.

They are afraid of the Clintons and Bush is only pretending that Clinton is responding positively to his advice.

5. Perhaps. All any of us have is our opinion based on what we can find out.
But gut feelings are an important part of my decisions and my gut isn't liking an awful lot of the DLC Dem capitulations to corporate and Bush war demands. With so much of the public in opposition, we deserve an opposition party that is truly different and will fight back. All those we thought would bring us some delicious fights after 2006 have been back-sliding and capitulating way too much for me to support them any longer.

6. Her top advisor has ties to Blackwater(?) She voted for the Kyl/Lieberman bill (?)
She says all options are on the table for Iran (?)

She was a Goldwater Girl and appears to be reverting to form now.

I think Hill is the real deal that bush fears will win, and I fear that is she wins she will NOT revoke the unitary executive powers that bush has claimed for himself. I fear that Hill will sell out America to the highest bidder, like Bill did with NAFTA. I had not paid enough attention to that issue initially because I liked and trusted Bill, but he definitely screwed the people of America long term with his short sighted business first trade agreements.
The "global economy" is a sea lifting the boats of the wealthy business owners and drowning the average worker.
