They WILL give a shit. They do believe that peace is for sissies, but this will cause them to be very unhappy, if ever more likely to become camp guards for the rest of us. They will be VERY unhappy. And we will be happy. I like that.

3. It WILL shake up a couple of my personal freepers.
I admit. It will cause them a twinge of pain.
I will take a moment of joy in that.

It will not change their minds about the "fake"
issue of global warming or their hatred of Al Gore.

Here's hoping that Al gets the nod.

8. What do you mean by your "personal freepers?"
Do you keep them in a cage? Do you have to change their litter? Seriously, I love it. "Personal freepers." It has a ring to it. I want some, too! Where can I order them?

11. A while back, there was a thread where we were asked to relate...
tales of repukes that, for one reason or another, whether through family
ties or work situations, etc., we either tolerated or had to listen to
in our daily lives....

The "personal freeper" grew from that. My "personal freepers" are a
high-school friend of my husband and his wife (both lawyers) who we
see about once a month. They have been VERY volatile lately, as they
have been proven wrong on SO many subjects........

They love my husband, so I poke them gently and let them make themselves
look like morans.

5. They will rail about the corrupt leftist Nobel Foundation
Edited on Fri Oct-05-07 09:28 PM by ocelot
which, after all, is run by those socialist Scandinavians, who have awarded the Peace Prize to disreputable commie pinko characters the Freepers love to hate: like Muhammad Yunus, who lends money to poor people; Mohamad ElBaradei, who said Saddam Hussein didn't have nukes; Jimmy Carter; Kofi Annan; Jody Williams, who tried to get land mines banned; Yasser Arafat; Nelson Mandela; Rigoberta Menchu, Desmond Tutu, Anwar Sadat, the Dalai Lama and Amnesty International.

The Righties can't stand people who promote peace.

9. They will put Al up there with him.
Hatred is the FReeper stock in trade. Laughing at them is the DU way. Understanding that they in their ignorance are tools of Bush/Cheney is where the heartbreak lies.

But screw 'em.
