Who would be the best candidate to clean up Washington and be honest as hell?
Edited on Fri Oct-05-07 09:26 PM by Quixote1818
Thats who I want.

Sell me on who would provide the best leadership in getting rid of special interest, neutering the powers of the military industrial complex, the pharmaceutical companies and the insurance companies to name a few. Who has the honesty and leadership to get things done?

Edwards seems to be the one who is talking most about these things. Can he turn things around? How about Obama or Chris Dodd?

On edit: Thought I would include this image because it may take Don Quixote to accomplish everything I listed.

3. With either Obama or Edwards
I think the rascals in Washington could be in for a rude awakening. I also think both are level headed and extremely honest.

4. They are never going to let Obama get that far...
As for Edwards, they would treat him like they did Carter...probably Obama, too, if he managed to get in.

They aren't going to let Hillary in, either. I have never seen the hatred as strong as that which they have for her and Bill.

I shudder for whoever does win, and that goes for Repug or Dem. What a mess to clean up.

5. Edwards has been fighting for ordinary people for a long time.
I believe he has the right mix of smart, honest, fair and open. I am 100% behind his campaign for president. I think he is the best candidate in a field of good (everybody except Hillary) to better than a Republican (Hillary) candidates.

19. George Washington? He's honest, he won't give up on his namesake, he's not on the ballot
so I'm going for Edwards. I wonder how much Georgie Washington paid for his pretty wigs?
He's so vain, he prolly thinks that city's named for him...

25. I haven't read any other responses as I type this but IMHO;
I really do think, heart to heart, that Kucinich is the candidate with the utmost integrity.

He hasn't faltered ONE TIME from what he states and believes and that is so rare in this political climate, imho.

I'm very upset at the candidates that not only voted once, but TWICE to put my son and others' sons

in harms way and they didn't even bat an eye speaking the words ...2013!!!!

:wtf:

That isn't integrity. That's showmanship and politics as usual and it's disgusting, imho!

It all comes down to trust for me and I don't trust people who claim to be 'educated' and
then make the same mistake twice!!

That, to me, is total Bu**Sh*t!!! Car salesmen! Fuller brush sales people, going door to door,
restating the same old tired spiel and hoping someone bites.

I'm NOT biting.
