Tear Down Guantanamo Bay

Amnesty International USA has a powerful campaign to collect names on a petition to close Guantanamo Bay.

There is a B&W image of a row if men handcuffed and blindfolded under armed guard.
When you sign the petition you remove one pixel from the image.

Nearly 68,000 people have signed so far and the effect is a powerful statement on the strength we have when we work together.
One pixel isn't much but one of the pixels under the boots of the prisoner on the far left is my pixel. I own that pixel and I have made a concrete contribution to eradicating torture.

3. Well-brewed cynicism actually. I witnessed political felonies in the 60s

and lived in Latin America. Everyone should get oput of the USA for at least a year to gain some objectivism about what the USA represents to the rest of the world. They do not suffer from our delusions about ourselves, as 9/11 so succinctly illustrated to the unwitting.
