The writing is on the wall, KLSD Air America is going to be flipped for Sports Radio on October 15. There are tons of sports stations in San Diego and another one just does not make any sense whatsoever. Ratings in San Diego for the coveted 25-54 audience is still pretty good. It's the 12 plus is where they are hurting. Advertisers have been beaten down by righties who have threaten boycotts and protest if they advertise on a "liberal" station. Plus there is pressure from republican campaign groups on Clear Channel execs to kill the "progressive" format before the 2008 elections. So long KLSD, is was great while it lasted.
