Keep K & R....this is the moment!

My sister helped direct Newsweek to write this article. Thanks again, Kerry for your wonderful work & belief in the vision of a Gore Presidency. RUN AL, RUN! Movement is growing like a weed!

Oct. 8, 2007 - Al Gore is not running for president. But might the publicity and sheen of a Nobel Peace Prize change his mind? Some Democratic activists sure hope so.

Grass-roots Gore loyalists have been buzzing for weeks about the Nobel Prize announcement scheduled for Oct. 12 in Oslo, Norway. Gore was nominated for his work on global warming, and several longtime Nobel observers believe this could be the year that a champion of climate change gets the prize. “We feel that if wins the Nobel Prize … then he can’t not run for president,” says Roy Gayhart, a San Diego-based organizer of a California draft Gore group.

For Gore supporters like Gayhart, the real inconvenient truth is that the former veep is not a candidate—and may never become one, no matter what happens in Oslo on Friday. Gore, who won an Emmy last month for his Current TV channel and whose film, “An Inconvenient Truth,” won an Oscar last February, has said nothing to indicate that he would run, and his Nashville office didn’t return several phone calls and e-mails seeking comment for this story. But unlike 2004, when his Shermanesque statement stopped supporters dead in their tracks, Gore has not completely closed the door on the idea......

PLEASE KEEP K & R....This is the critical time....if you want Gore to run, take action NOW! (link at top of post)

5. I am very, very proud of her.

She has been key in leading the Western MA movement. MA is hoping to announce a Gore Primary Ballot slot on the same day as the Nobel Prize is announced (we think he is going to WIN)....

Gore is really the best hope. RUN AL, RUN!

7. Here, lemme channel again:
"Gore is better off doing what he's doing now, blah blah blah, the Nobel Prize shouldn't be used as a political trophy, blah blah blah, Gore can do more where he is right now than he ever could as President, blah blah blah, we should let him decide rather than deciding for him, blah blah blah..."

11. If there was ever a man made for the time, it is Gore and now. I
can understand his reluctance - he was subjected to enormously vicious attacks and to the greastest swindle in Presidential history - and now he has a good life. But we simply need him and desperately. Al, it's your duty! Do it!

12. I hate to ask it of him, however, I believe it is his calling

Perhaps, we were not ready in 2000 & did not understand the true scope of the underbelly of the political world. But, boy, oh, boy. We do now. I will NEVER EVER EVER again take for granted a decent person running for office in the midst of such corruption & slime.

Run Al, Run. I will stand with you all through the campaign & work to help achieve your aims throughout your Presidency.

18. When will you folks understand Gore is not
a fighter. If he really wanted to be President he would have challenged Bush in 04 and made the case to the american people he won in 2000 and stated frankly this is what is wrong with this country and the changes I know will get us back on the right course, but no he did not and he has said no, and how many no's will it take for folks to understand he will not run....There is no fire in gore's belly let along any smoke.....He is not a fighter that is willing to go the distance again.

19. bullcrap...he is masterful...and will be our next president....I believe he is running a brilliant
campaign...while the others, including our elected senators have been campaigning for a year..or more..he has been effecting change...uniting the world around global warming...building his base....which includes anyone with a brain...this past year alone, he has written a book, won an emmy, an oscar, probably the nobel peace prize and produced an event which united the world...especially young people...and he stayed out of the fray while standing taller than any other candidate from any party....yeah, he doesnt have a fire in his belly...what planet do you live on?

22. And perhaps just as important is what he has NOT been doing this past year:
As a non-candidate, he has had no need to criss-cross the country, hat in hand, soliciting contributions and indebting himself to special interests.

I like that in a (potential) candidate.

20. Just keep on pushing the media soundbites
You prove you learned nothing from reading his books.

"My sister helped direct Newsweek to write this article."

Wow, and you aren't even shy about the blatant manipulation against his wishes. There isn't enough bandwidth on the Internet to store all of these egos.
