Maybe once every two weeks an army car went up my
street to deliver bad news. Maybe. It is funny thinking back, cause I know maybe for every delivery made about five people stood up to protest the war.

I don't see these people standing up today. It is sad.

If war is wrong it has to be morally wrong and that doesn't change - so where are these "defenders of morality" today. I think they are AWOL.

Some of my family fought that war - some of my family protested the war - and I respect anyone who stands on principle -

I just don't see too many with any principle today. And that is sad.

2. No - I am saying if a kid from house X died - five other houses
sent kids to protest. About 5 to 1 I think.

The people that had a kid die - they just collapse.

This was decades ago, I guess.

3. Hi Joe
Glad to see you posting. Have missed seeing you.
We are protesting. Problem is the media is not covering us. The people passing us in their cars are seeing us though and are seeing that a lot of us are upset. Sooner or later it will dawn on them that the news is not reporting what is happening.

5. I am telling you - those kids understand - and they are
pissed. They can send them due east into Afghanistan -and they will fight their asses off, no leave - they understand that fight. This thing in Iraq - they don't get it either.

Somehow this bastard managed to build a wall around himself and reality. And we have to knock it down. And we have friends in unlikely places.

He thinks we can't organize - lets teach him a lesson in americana -

We won't only learn to organize - we remember just how to tar and feather an asshole that needs it.

6. We can win this right now -
we need to link up with people that we may disagree with on some issues. We may not even agree with why we need to get out - it doesn't matter.

I think we all have a sense that we better get out and move on - or there is trouble for us.

Let us link up!!!

There is so much power in this - you can feel it.

7. I don't preach alot- I hope - but I will now
You do the right thing - that one thing god directs you to do.

You do that - then you did the best you could ever do - you do less - and that will haunt you.

I am violently against this war. Violently. And I still don't think I am that liberal. Liberitarian maybe- but I understand, we may have to fight war - we just can't fight one "pre-emptively" - that is like voluntarily having a limb amputated. Makes no sense.

They make a cold blooded calculation that anti-war groups will not organize - cause maybe we have different dispositions on other issues.

Maybe we do - so what - we want our country to survive first too - all of us.

The calculation is flawed. They need to be taught a lesson in americana.

I am actually christian - pretty much - and like every decent christian we respect all points of view. But these bastards call themselves christian - and that is an abomination. They are NOT christians. We don't kill unless we have to - they do.

SO - lets organize - and we can all find out what a 21st century tar and feathering really looks like.

Joe

8. One thing that has been missing is the protest songs on the radio they are being made but not played
I just bought Magic by the Boss Bruce Springsteen I understand John Fogerty just released Revival. But you never hear Living with war on the radio either. That is the big difference between now and the 60's

Needd to get these to the top of the charts then people might start paying attention!
