Maybe this was Bush's plan for Iraq all along
Lie to invade the Iraq just to get Saddam and have him hanged, and then occupy the country long enough to allow his cronies to profit big before abandoning Iraq (dumping the war on Democrats).

War crimes

1. or, instead of abandoning Iraq, use Iraq as a
stepping stone into Iran - where his cronies can double and triple their profits . . . and create a stranglehold on the whole region

2. Right on spot there DrDan.
Iran needs the refineries, B*shco has the money/power/following to "get 'er done".

4. I can not help but think that ...
the only reason the AWOL chickenshit wants a continued presence in Iraq past his term, is so that he can connect up to the cash cow that he created. There is absolutely no sane reason to want to stay there.

Cheers
Drifter

6. "Maybe?"
The thousands of people at the February 15th 2003 pre-invasion UN NYC protest already knew it was about profit, specifically our soldier's lives for oil.

We all knew that we couldn't stop it, but we went out in 20 degree weather anyway, because we knew ahead of time "why" we were invading.

And here we are, and it was all true.

11. Yes maybe. There could be more to
his plan (see post 1), and still there could be more. Maybe, since I have no clue what's floating around in his head.
