Okay, the reporter is a step ahead, and notices that that particular quote isn't there. Back up a step. Maybe it wasn't explosively formed penetrators; how about weapons? You have to admit there are weapons in Iraq, right? Well, yeah, of course. Okay, see? If there are weapons in Iraq, and it can not be definitively disproved that every weapon in Iraq did not come from Iran, then there's a possibility that there are Iranian weapons in Iraq. No doubt about that, correct? Therefore, we must go to war with Iran, Q.E.D.

While Snow does a good job of avoiding the title of "outright liar" his equivocations and word parsing are, in my opinion, a crime.

To intentionally lead the American people AWAY from the truth from that podium is borderline treason, and should be dealt with accordingly. I do not think Snow should be given a traitor's sentence, but I think the fact that he and the administration care very little for what truthful information is given to the public is pretty damn close.
