1. Oh, now he's trying to get Bruce Springsteen to come on his show.
Will he or won't he?

3. The General is on now, but I must say, I don't understand the reason for this book.
It looks like a "I'm running for President" book, but he talks like he's not going to run?

Did he write this book just in case?

8. Not every book is written as a precursor to a presidential run.
He wrote it because he wanted to criticize the Bush administration's crappy "leadership," which is a very good reason to write a book. He's already said he's not running.

10. It's a "duh" that nobody seems to think about--Clark did a great job
tonight, and played well with Colbert.

with an "almost" Five Star General who would have made a damn great President if you ask me. :(

Clark's book is really good. I'm at the 1980-1991 chapter now. Wes Clark told me that it was a quick read (went to one of his booksignings in SF), but it actually has turned out to read very much like a good novel, Jason Bourne style! :)

14. I will have to check it out--haven't done much book-reading lately, but
will make an exception for Wes!
