I saw an interesting commercial about Mitt Romney today...
Edited on Thu Oct-11-07 12:40 PM by madinmaryland
The ad starts out in that "grainy black and white" talking about Mitt Romneys comments about equal rights for G/L americans. Another comment about abortion rights and allowing marriage for gays and lesbians. The commercial cuts outs to another picture of Mitt. At this point, I am expecting a hatchet job talking about Mitt the flip-flopper. Instead text comes up saying this commercial is being aired by the Log Cabin Republicans and that they support Mitt Romney.

??

Is it true they are supporting Mitt?

On edit: It appears they really are trying to show him as a flip-flopper...

1. Not really - they know how the commercial looks to most Republicans
So they are playing off of it to good effect, because they are also anti Romney.

I think they are pro-Giuliani.

6. I wondered that too. I had no idea that they would actually support
Romney. Giuliani would be a "closer" fit.

2. I don't think so--I'm guessing it's a hit job from another campaign, or
the LCR are trying to damage him for reversing his gay-friendly promises in MA.

5. They are sticking it to him because he once said he supported equal rights
when he was running for Gov of a liberal state.

Now he takes it all back.
