3. Spending another evening taking care of my stepdaughter

taking her to an appointment, meeting her doctor, consulting with her mom, making sure she takes her medicine on time and otherwise not being judgmental of other Democrats and what they do in their evenings.

Now, LAST night, my husband and I attended an informal meeting of some of the friends that we've worked with for the past few election cycles (we started in 2000). We were making plans for this upcoming election cycle. Specifically we were discussing which candidates we would support and how we wold work for them in the upcoming elections. It is part of our continuing bid to keep turning the red state of Kansas blue.

4. I was called last night to go to a Moveon event for our dem running for

governor (Brashear) against our current Pug (Fletcher.) Moveon just opened the office in Louisville and I am really ready to help.

Charlie Brown (CA04) is getting all the change from the couch. Charlie is going to take Doolittle down. It's all I can do financially and physically at the moment. Soon come, I believe I will be able to do more.

I'm wondering what I can scrounge for dinner without working too hard, and if it's too early to go to bed.

I'm typing on the computer because I'm waiting for my turn in the kitchen, where everyone else is eating Pizza, which is not on my list of allowed foods.
