Jimmy Carter rips into Bush and Cheney

~snip~ The US tortures prisoners in violation of international law, former President Jimmy Carter said, adding that President George W Bush makes up his own definition of torture and his vice president, Dick Cheney is a "militant".

"Our country for the first time in my life time has abandoned the basic principle of human rights," Carter said on CNN. "We've said that the Geneva Conventions do not apply to those people in Abu Ghraib prison and Guantanamo, and we've said we can torture prisoners and deprive them of an accusation of a crime."

I mean, have you ever noticed that when Chaney enters a room, weird stuff happens? Like the flowers will typically wilt. Flies start to swarm. And if a bible is present, it'll more likely as not, catch fire?
