Got an email from my friend in Kurdistan
He said the situation is very tense with the Turks and that they may retaliate because of the Armenia issue. Lots of fighting between the Kurds and the Turkish army with US troops in the middle.
He's not military but a contractor (non mercenary). Hope he gets out of there soon.

1. The PKK should stop going into Turkey, and using terrorist attacks to kill civillians
I wish the best for your friend, and hope he gets out of there, because it is getting to the point where Turkey is going to protect its border, and do what it deems necessary to stop the PKK attacks

Another spin off disaster from our invasion of Iraq

6. "that they may retaliate because of the Armenia issue"...
so they are pissed off over the US wanting to state the obvious and call it genocide so in retaliation they want to continue commiting genocide by invading the Kurds?

Now there is some mind bending logic for you.
