8. There is one thing that Al could do to end this whole thing right now - why

doesn't he do it?

He just has to state definitively "thanks, folks, very much but I am not going to run for the presidency in 2008. I've made up my mind and it is not going to happen, not now, not in a year, not at all for 2008."

At that point he could throw his support to another candidate, if he chose to do so.

I love Al and want him to run but if he isn't going to run I wish he would just tell us -straight out - now so we Gore people can select another candidate.
