Condi swears in Race for the Cure Buddy Brinker

Founder of the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (aka Walmart of Breast Cancer Groups) was sworn in this week by Condi Rice as Chief of Protocol in the State Dept. of the Bush Administration.

Other than greeting foreign heads of state, Ms. Brinker's job is to help the Bush administration (and future Bush administrations) use breast cancer as a tool to gain the loyalty of women voters. Why else would the head of the most widely known breast cancer organization align herself with one of the most unpopular presidents in history?
