Florida boot camp staff cleared in teen's death

A Florida jury acquitted seven former guards and a nurse of manslaughter on Friday in the death of a 14-year-old boy whose beating by the guards at a juvenile boot camp was caught on videotape.

The death of Martin Lee Anderson, who was sent to the detention camp for joyriding in his grandmother's car, sparked widespread outrage when the tape was made public, leading to accusations of a cover-up against then Gov. Jeb Bush, protests at the state capital and closure of Florida's boot camps.

American values Michael Vick goes to prison for dog fighting and abuse but an all white jury with a video tape can not find these thugs guilty.

Remember that phrase, "getting away with murder"? Bush could shoot someone in the back of the head on the Whitehouse Lawn, and no charges would be pressed. Hell, he could get it on with a goat, or sodomize a child and get away with it.

4. How is it people can see abuse and deny it?

As happens frequently when excessive police force is caught on tape. Some see it, some apparently can not.

There could be some kind of deference to authority syndrome going on here, if not just outright racism.

10. Let's Get Hypothetical...

... and, simply for the sake of argument, assume the guards were legally justified in the extent to which they subdued Anderson. Still, the video clearly shows guards and nurses alike DICKING AROUND FOR OVER 10 MINUTES while Anderson suffocated. Hell, the coroner who performed Anderson's autopsy flat-out stated his death was undeniably caused by the actions of these homunculus Neanderthal guards.

If there were any justice in the world, these mental midgets would be stripped of their badges, clapped in leg irons, and thrown into the pit with the people they formerly assaulted on a daily basis.
