War in Iraq Cooling Down Just In Time?

Looks like the war on Iraqis is cooling down. Cooling down just in time to keep it from being much of a campaign issue in 2008. Certainly no DC politician wants to argue about the war and the lives and money expended.

Nope. Let that sucker wind down into a background noise. Heck, on M$M it already is just a background noise!

Bushco has read the polls, and the people are against the war. No matter, the war was over a long time ago. Now the occupation has settled in and is firming up like drying concrete.

We are there to stay. Only about one fourth of the politicians in DC want us out but being in the minority is just that... a minor position.

Bill Clinton thinks we oughtta be there and sure as shooting his wife concurs. Big money thinks we should stay, the Pentagon thinks we should stay: Guess what? We are gonna stay in Iraq in a major way.

But the people are getting pissed, so there has to be a maneuver around that displeasure, and given that the election is just a year away the problems simply must not fester.... not for another year at least.

In fact, look for the problem to begin healing itself quite nicely. Face it, bushco has been in control for four years there and all the angles are known: it was just a matter of time that bushco began managing the war correctly.

Look for bushco's chaos to begin winding down. Just in time, eh?

Can't even buy a reply, eh?

Well, mark my words, because you will see that the war becomes less and less of an issue. It will be an issue only to the absolute anti-war peaceniks like me and the other original 10%'ers in a year from now.
