I still don't think he's going to run.
Running for president 7 years ago was one of the worst experiences of his life.

He's spent the last few years doing what he truly loves, and look what it brought him in the last year or so--an Oscar, an Emmy, and now a Nobel, plus the admiration and respect of people the world over.

And you guys think he would drop everything to go to Iowa and talk himself up at state fairs and town halls? Enter the Obama/Edwards/Clinton fray? Deal with the always-inevitable "gotcha" moment when some Fox cameraman catches him cursing or picking his nose? Really?

I believe him when he says he doesn't want the job. I love the guy, but he's being honest, not coy.

3. I agree
If Gore was going to run for President this year, he would have announced his candidacy long ago.

4. I agree.
I think he'd be very, very happy to work closely with a new Democratic administration as an advisor, though.

A wise administration will give him a prominent voice -- perhaps even a new Cabinet-level position with a budget, staff, and authority to make enforceable policy.

Wouldn't that be the cat's meow?

Obama?
