Dave Emory's radio show "For the Record"
I have been listening to the archives of Dave Emory's show "For the Record" which is broadcast on WFUM and also on Pacific's kpfk station and was wondering what people think of him. He focuses on the many links between Fascist groups since World War II. I've read some unflattering things about him, which basically paint him as a conspiracy theorist wacko, but his programs are very interesting and seem to have a lot of research behind them. Anybody have any background or thoughts on him?

the crooked voting machines in Fla and exposed my supervisor of elections husbands connections to the voting machine companies..he was way ahead of anyone else.

so some may say he is a conspiracy theorist..but he was way ahead of anyone else exposing the problems with our dre voting machines and the crooks behind them..way way before anyone else did .

2. Emory never struck me as a wacko.
He uses articles and books for references. He knows a lot of history. If all "conspiracy theorists" are to be disparaged then no premise no matter how truthful can help us understand the world in which we find ourselves. His written archives are helpful also.

3. Dave Emory's show originates here: link

WFMU does archive. Thanks to them.

He's interesting. Controversial in a controversial field. Originally one of the Brussell Sprouts. (see:http://www.maebrussell.com/index.html).

He's an old hand in assassination research much to be preferred to right-wing yoyos like Alex Jones & Co.

As always tread carefully. Have a notebook handy to write names down & follow up. There's always a lot of names in Mr. Emory's shows.

IMO he's worth listening to even if one comes to different conclusions than his.

4. Dave Emory is my first cousin
I haven't seen him in decades, and his contacts with the rest of his siblings
and father (his mother, my aunt, died over 20 years ago) have been sporadic at
best. When we were teenagers, we got along great, but then he had a few bad drug
trips (LSD, if I remember correctly), and it was bye-bye cousin Dave. I always
wondered what the conversation would be like if we ever met up again, but as he
hangs on the West Coast, and I am stationed in Central Europe, it doesn't appear
likely.
