(AHN) - Dozens of barber shops hung signs on their doors telling customers that they will no longer shave beards.

Notices from the Taliban regime threatened any barber who continues to shave the beards of their customers. Under the Taliban regime, all men must grow and keep their beards.

A handwritten note delivered to barber shops in Pakistan's Bajur tribal region near the Afghan border, read, "Barbers! Correct yourselves. Any barber shop where acts against Shariah - shaving or cutting of beards - are seen, are given a final warning to stop this anti-Shariah work and if they do not stop, they should take responsibility for whatever harm they come to."

Barbers told the AP they believe Islamic militants issued the warning. Barber Bacha Khan said, "We do not want to come to harm. If this work is against Shariah, we will stop it."

Chimpy's brilliant plan to let the Pakistanis guard the border allowed OBL to escape from Tora Bora. This plan was equivalent to the British asking Pennsylvanians to guard the border and catch George Washington for them. OBL is a hero in Pakistan. The USA could not afford to send more troops to Afghanistan because they were on hold for an unnecessary Iraq invasion. Every American should be outraged. We have been embarrassed by the failure to capture and kill EVERY SINGLE mastermind of 9-11.
